Katie Binkerd is a 2005 graduate of the Northeast Ohio Dance. During her eight years with the company she danced classical rolls including the Peasant Pas de Deux from Giselle, Midori in Le Corsaire, Taglione in Pas de Quatre, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Raymonda, and Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. Miss Binkerd was also invited to dance as a guest artist for Pamela Langevin as Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in a Cleveland production of The Nutcracker. She has attended master classes in New York City, with the Fort Wayne Youth Ballet, and with Ohio Ballet.
Miss Binkerd's teaching career began with Northeast Ohio Dance in 2006 under the guidance of the School Director, Brenda Stygar, and Assistant Director, Roseann Seryak. She is also employed with McDonald's Corporation
Miss Binkerd is also licensed in Cosmetology from the National Beauty College in Canton and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix.
