NEOD Boosters
Next Meeting: September TBD
All families of Northeast Ohio Dance, Inc. (NEOD) are automatically members of the Boosters Club. The club exists to ensure
the continued existence of the NEOD programs of training and performance. The mission statement of Northeast Ohio Dance is
“To provide value through dance to the people and communities of Northeast Ohio”. The Boosters play an integral part in maintaining
the mission and promoting the studio.
Booster Club meetings are usually held two to three months prior to the studio’s performance seasons –
“The Nutcracker”, The Spring Gala, and The End of the Year Recital. Lead by the Booster Co-Presidents, the members help to determine the
volunteer support teams and their responsibilities before, during, and after each performance. For example: Dance-o-gram volunteers, Boutique
volunteers, ushers, people to hand out programs, Backstage Assistants, Costume Assistance, Pre-performance food, Post-performance receptions, etc.
While volunteers are often families whose children are participating in the current season, volunteers are welcome to participate in any season.
Booster members also volunteer to help with the two days of registration for each new school year as well as office work,
studio repair and maintenance, Website Master/NEOD Facebook page, and Wadsworth community events in which NEOD members participate
(The Blue Tip Parade, The Christmas Parade, The Halloween “Thriller” performers).
